    Dr. Wes Gould has a rich background in competitive sports, particularly Surf Lifesaving, which he pursued while growing up in Western Australia. His passion for sports led him to relocate to the Gold Coast, where he successfully qualified for the Nutri-Grain Surf Ironman series while completing his chiropractic studies.

    Dr. Wes Gould's personal experience in pushing his body to its limits, particularly in competitive sports like Surf Lifesaving, gives him a unique understanding of the critical connection between a balanced, well-aligned body and peak physical performance. This understanding allows him to empathise with athletes and confidently provide the holistic treatment required for optimal performance.

With a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Movement Science, Victoria brings a wealth of expertise to our team.

  • Originally from the USA, Victoria's background as an ex-NCAA collegiate volleyball player from Penn State University reflects her deep passion for fitness and sports and the strong sense of community they foster.

    Victoria's clinical experience spans various sports, including rugby and Australian Rules Football (AFL). She has worked with prestigious teams such as Perth's Super Rugby Pacific team, The Western Force, Bond University Rugby Union Club, Ballina Bombers AFL, and the World Surf League (WSL) Gold Coast Pro. Her academic qualifications and hands-on experience equip her with the knowledge and skills to address various musculoskeletal issues.

    Victoria's philosophy revolves around helping individuals improve their quality of life by building confidence in the gym and creating resilience for everyday life. She believes in looking at the full picture of human health, focusing on overall well-being rather than treating symptoms or injuries.

Hailing from Rome, Italy, Adriano brings a wealth of international experience and a passion for alleviating pain and promoting movement to our team.

  • Specialising in manual therapy, exercise interventions, and spinal rehabilitation, Adriano takes a structural and functional approach to treat all musculoskeletal conditions.

    Adriano's journey as a physiotherapist has taken him across the globe, from studying Occupational Therapy in Rome to pursuing Physiotherapy in Amsterdam. 

    His qualifications include:

    HVLAA Manipulations certificates from the European Academy of Osteopathy.

    FIFA Diploma of Football Medicine.

Elsa is driven by an unwavering passion for assisting people in attaining optimal movement and well-being.

  • With nearly a decade of experience, Elsa has devoted her career to relieving pain and enhancing movement functionality. Her diverse background in clinical practice allows her to treat a wide range of clients, from desk workers to tradies, as well as athletes, local AFL players, and elite NRL athletes.

    Elsa brings a wealth of expertise in deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage, lymphatic massage, dry needling, cupping, exercise prescription, stretching, and pilates to the esteemed team at TGJ. She conducts thorough assessments, discusses outcomes and goals, and tailors treatments using various modalities such as dry needling, cupping, myofascial release, DIP, longitudinal gliding, exercises, and stretches.

    Elsa prides herself on teaching clients how to move their bodies with low-impact exercises that are safe and effective. Additionally, Elsa is a pre-and post-natal specialist and excels in sports massage. She is working with the Gold Coast Titans to provide soft tissue release massage, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in her field.

Having personally navigated the nutritional demands of athletic endeavours, Tracy empathises with the unique dietary needs and potential obstacles her clients might face.

  • Tracy’s passion for nutrition is deeply rooted in her Italian heritage. Inspired by her Nonna’s love for homegrown produce and traditional cooking methods, Tracy learned the value of nutritious food from a young age. This early exposure to the healing nature of food, combined with a lifelong love for sports, shaped her holistic approach to nutrition.

    Throughout her youth, Tracy was actively involved in various sports, including cricket, gymnastics, AFL, tennis, soccer, and netball. These experiences and her journey as a mother of three led her to explore new challenges like running, obstacle courses, figure sculpting, and boxing. Each pursuit deepened her understanding of optimal nutrition for athletic performance and recovery.

    Having personally navigated the nutritional demands of athletic endeavours, Tracy empathises with the unique dietary needs and potential obstacles her clients might face. She is committed to providing practical and tailored nutritional advice to support clients at different life stages. Alex Butchies

Meet Alex, an Exercise Physiologist with a unique focus on challenging clinical populations. With a background of four years dedicated to working with war veterans, Alex has honed his clinical skills and approach to chronic disease management, where he starts with the root of any patient's problem, which is mental health.

  • Alex's expertise was shaped through collaboration with talented clinical psychologists and physiotherapists during his tenure with war veterans. In a collaborative environment, Alex emphasised the interconnectedness of physical and mental health, highlighting the importance of holistic management.

    In addition to his clinical work, Alex has been deeply involved in competitive submission grappling since 2015. This demanding sport requires physical prowess and mental fortitude, providing Alex with firsthand experience in performance and recovery strategies.

    Recognising the critical role of mental health in overall well-being, Alex prioritises addressing patients' mental health before addressing their physical pain. He firmly believes that mental and physical health are intertwined and works closely with individuals to ensure a holistic approach to their care.

    Furthermore, Alex collaborates with the Mens Medicine Community, a Gold Coast-based movement that supports and empowers individuals facing mental health challenges.

Miria Woodroff

Introducing Miria, an esteemed Massage Therapist with a remarkable 15 years of experience as a Strength & Conditioning Coach in the Military. 

Miria specialises in Myofascial Stretch Sessions and stretch therapy offering a unique approach to addressing the root causes of discomfort and restricted movement.

  • Miria's extensive military career involved training some of the world's most elite defence force personnel. Upon relocating to Australia, she retrained as a movement therapist, excelling in her field. Her diverse clientele includes NRL, NRLW, NZ 7's, development athletes, professional skateboarders, and everyday athletes, all benefitting from her dedication to ensuring longevity and peak performance in their athletic pursuits.
